Martin Skrtel thanks Liverpool fans after Fenerbahce move

Martin Skrtel has taken to Instagram to thank the Liverpool fans following his exit from the club.

The 31-year-old completed his transfer to Fenerbahce yesterday, ending an eight-and-a-half-year stint at Anfield to move to the Turkish outfit.

The Slovakia international described playing for the Reds as a "pleasure" and a "privilege" when posting a goodbye message on social media.

I would like to say big thanks to all Liverpool fans arround the world for the support they been showing to me and my family throughout 8 and half years!it was pleasure amd privilege represent such a massive club as LIVERPOOL FC.the club,city and fans will be in our hearts forever ❤️ YNWA

Skrtel made 319 appearances during his time with Liverpool, scoring 18 goals.
