Ibe "delighted" to be learning from Klopp

Liverpool youngster Jordon Ibe has claimed that he hopes to become a "good player" under Jurgen Klopp's guidance.

The 19-year-old scored his first competitive goal for the Reds in Thursday night's 1-0 win over Rubin Kazan in the Europa League.

Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers last month, and in six games in charge, the German coach has overseen three draws and three victories.

"He's a great manager, I'm delighted to be working with him," Ibe told the club's official website. "He's showing me new things in training and obviously training is different now so I'm learning.

"Hopefully I can keep getting the experience I need and he can develop me into a good player. Everybody's doing well in training and we're just delighted as a group to be doing well now. Hopefully we can just keep winning games and make it a repetition now."

Liverpool will face Crystal Palace at Anfield this Sunday.
