Hartlepool United have announced that they have signed Scott Harrison on a permanent deal from Sunderland.
The 21-year-old defender joined the League Two side for a third loan spell last month, but Harrison has now penned a long-term contract at Victoria Park.
He told the club's official website: "It feels good to be at Hartlepool permanently now.
"I just want to get cracking now and keeping on playing the way we have been, winning games and getting out of the trouble we're in at the moment.
"I've committed myself to it now and I think all the rest of the players are so now we have to concentrate on climbing the table."
He has made 25 appearances for Pools already.
