Ryan Fulton has signed a contract extension to keep him at Hamilton for a further three years.
The Scotland Under-21 international has signed on until the end of the 2020-21 season after impressing in his debut season at the club.
Fulton made eight appearances for Accies after joining from Liverpool in 2017 but has only featured in the Betfred Cup this season – in the 4-0 win over Berwick.
He has been kept out of the side by Gary Woods in the league, but manager Martin Canning told the club’s official website: “We’re delighted that Ryan has agreed to extend his stay with the club.
“We’re fortunate to have three very good goalkeepers in the first team pool. Woodsy has been excellent but we’re also pleased with Ryan’s development; both in training and when given an opportunity in games – not only for us but at international level too.
“He has all the attributes you’d want in a top goalkeeper and we think all parties agree this is the right place for him to develop even further.”
