Genoa forward Alberto Gilardino has claimed that he is happy to be staying at the club.
The Italian international spent last season on loan at Bologna and was linked with a move to Juventus on the last day of the transfer window.
He has only played 14 times for the club since joining in January 2012, but revealed that he is content to stay and fight for his place in the team.
"I'm very happy to have remained at Genoa, I will give my all for this shirt," he wrote on Twitter.
Gilardino scored 13 goals in 36 league appearances last season at Bologna as he helped the club to a 13th-place finish in Serie A.
