The Premier League is the most bet-on men's professional football league globally. There are twenty teams to bet on and hundreds of other individual Premier League betting markets to choose from at today's most trusted online bookmakers.

The question being asked here is, who are the three most bet-on teams in the English Premier League? Let's dive straight in to find out.

Which three teams in the Premier League are bet on the most?

The three teams bet on the most throughout an average English Premier League season change from one year to the next. The team that's bet on the most usually goes on to win the league, and the player who scores the most goals/golden boot winner also usually plays for that same team.

At the time of writing, the three most bet-on teams in the Premier League are the following:
  1. Manchester City (to win the league) and Erling Haaland (for the top goalscorer)
  2. Arsenal to win the league and Bukayo Saka for the top goalscorer
  3. Liverpool to win the league and Mo Salah for the top goalscorer

When online betting at today's most trusted sites, people also like to bet on which team will most likely be relegated back down to the Championship at the end of the season. At the time of writing, those three teams are Luton Town, Sheffield United, and Everton.

A look at some of the latest Premier League betting odds

Manchester city are the current odds-on favourite to win the Premier League, and many of today's most reputable online bookmakers (licensed sports betting sites, like Unibet) currently have Manchester City priced at around 8/15 in the fractional odds format.

In other words, Man City have a whopping 65.20% implied probability rate of going on to win the league outright. In American/moneyline odds, 8/15 works out to -188, and in decimal odds, it's 1.53.

Arsenal, the second odds-on favourites to win the league, are currently priced at 11/2 (+550, or 6.5), with only a 15.4% chance of winning, and you then have Liverpool, who are currently priced at 9/1 (+900, or 10.00), with only a 10% chance of winning.

In comparison, if you were to place a bet right now on Burnley winning the Premier League outright, you would be looking at average odds of around 1,500/1 (+150,000, or 1,501.00), with only a 0.10% chance of winning.

Similarly, Sheffield United to win the Premier League outright are currently priced at around 2,500/1 (+250,000, or 2,501.00) with a 0% chance of winning, and Luton Town is currently priced at around 3,000/1 (+300,000 or 3,001.00), also with a 0% chance of winning.

If Burnley, Sheffield United, or Luton Town did go on to win, and you placed a bet on this outcome, you could end up quite rich, depending on how much money you wagered. However, the chances of one of these teams winning the league are basically zero.

This is why it would be better to put a bet on one of these clubs to be relegated from the league rather than one of them winning the league.

How old do I have to be to bet on the Premier League at licensed sports betting sites?

The legal minimum age required to place sports bets at licensed casino sites worldwide varies somewhat. For example, in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, and many other parts of the world, where it's legal to place sports bets at licensed online bookmakers, it's generally 18.
However, in other parts, including Canadian provinces (e.g., Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Alberta, it's 19), and in certain US states (e.g., New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, to name a few), it's 21.
