Team News: Modibo Maiga given nod by Metz boss Albert Cartier

Metz are to be led in attack by West Ham United loanee Modibo Maiga as they welcome Evian TG to the Stade Saint-Symphorien in Ligue 1.

Metz have decided to start just one striker in the shape of West Ham United loanee Modibo Maiga as they prepare to face Evian TG in Ligue 1 this evening.

The lone frontman is to be supported by a five-man midfield, which includes the attacking qualities of Bouna Sarr, Kevin Lejeune and Cheick Doukoure.

The visitors will operate with two strikers as Adrien Thomasson and Mathieu Duhamel both get the nod from Pascal Dupraz.

They are to be backed up by the likes of Gilles Sunu, Cedric Barbosa and Yeltsin Tejeda from midfield.

Metz: Carrasso; Rivierez, Marchal, Metanire, Palomino, Sass, Doukoure, Sarr, Lejeune, Philipps, Maiga

Evian: Leroy; Abdallah, Nounkeu, Sabaly, Cambon, Kone, Thomasson, Tejeda, Barbosa, Duhamel, Sunu
