Howard Webb named Euro 2012 official

English referee Howard Webb has been named as one of the 12 officials for the 2012 European Championships.

Webb, who took charge of the 2010 World Cup final between Spain and Holland, is widely regarded as one of the game's best officials.

The 40-year-old will be joined at the tournament in Poland and Ukraine by Scottish referee Craig Thomson.
