Jim Jefferies will take over as the manager of Dunfermline Athletic on Wednesday.

Jim Jefferies will be presented as the new manager of Dunfermline Athletic on Wednesday.

Jim McIntyre departed the Scottish Premier League club on Friday, and the Pars reportedly began talks with Jefferies on Sunday.

The struggling club are four points behind 11th placed Hibernian, and have failed to win any of their last eight games.

Jefferies has previously managed Bradford City and Hearts.
