Report: Roma eye Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic

Roma have held preliminary discussions with Chelsea regarding a summer move for Branislav Ivanovic, according to a report in Italy.

The defender only signed a one-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge in January.

However, Corriere dello Sport claims that Ivanovic was the subject of transfer discussions when officials from the two clubs met last week.

Ivanovic, 32, joined Chelsea in 2008 from Lokomotiv Moscow and has gone on to make almost 350 appearances for the Premier League side.
