Chelsea will ban supporters targeting Ferdinand

Chelsea to act over racist chants

Chelsea have promised to ban supporters who direct abusive chants towards Anton Ferdinand during the FA Cup clash with Queens Park Rangers.

Blues captain John Terry is currently being investigated over an alleged racist comment aimed at Ferdinand during the October match between the two sides.

Some Chelsea supporters have been reportedly singing "Anton Ferdinand, you know what you are" at recent matches and the club insist strong action will be taken against these fans.

Ferdinand has apparently been asked by his club to shake hands with Terry prior to the match at Stamford Bridge.
