Jose Mourinho agrees new Chelsea deal?

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reportedly agrees a four-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed a new four-year contract with the Premier League champions.

The 52-year-old's current deal at Stamford Bridge is due to expire in 2017.

Mourinho returned to the club in 2013 before guiding the Blues to the Premier League title and League Cup crown last season.

Chelsea are expected to confirm the Portuguese's contract extension before the start of the new campaign, according to the Evening Standard.

Mourinho, whose previous clubs include Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, will remain on his £8.5m-per-year salary.

Chelsea will begin the defence of their league title on August 8 when they host Swansea City.
