Pep Guardiola targets future management role

Pep Guardiola says that he will be "pleased" to receive managerial offers from clubs but insists that he will take time to rest.

Pep Guardiola has claimed that he will choose his next managerial venture if a club manages to "seduce" him after his sabbatical.

The 41-year-old takes charge of his final game for Barcelona tonight as the former La Liga champions take on Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final.

While the ex-Spain international is expected to take a lengthy break away from football, Guardiola, who has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Liverpool, has claimed that he will welcome offers.

"I will be pleased to receive their calls, of course, but for the next months I have to charge my batteries, charge my mind," said Guardiola.

"I'm going to rest and then I will wait and, when I will be ready, if one club wants me, if they seduce me, I will train again."

Guardiola led the Catalans to three league titles and two Champions League trophies during his time at the helm of the Nou Camp.
