Chelsea 'to wait on Armando Broja decision'

Chelsea have reportedly decided to wait until the end of the season to make a decision on striker Armando Broja's future at Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Southampton and has impressed during his first full season in the Premier League, scoring five goals and providing one assist in 18 top-flight appearances for the Saints.

His performances for Ralph Hasenhuttl's side have sparked suggestions that the South-coast club will attempt to make his move permanent with a transfer bid at the end of his loan spell.

According to The Mirror, the Blues will not make a decision on where Broja's future lays this January, with Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner Thomas Tuchel's current striking options in West London.

The Albanian international joined Chelsea's academy system as an eight-year-old, and was given his senior debut in 2020 by then manager Frank Lampard.

Elsewhere, Chelsea have reportedly registered their interest in Leeds United's Raphinha to bolster their attacking options, while also looking to bring in defender Jules Kounde.
