Chelsea will play Huddersfield Town on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season.

Chelsea have been handed a trip to Huddersfield Town on the opening day of the new Premier League campaign.

Antonio Conte's future at Stamford Bridge is still in doubt, but the Blues know that they will begin the season with a fixture at the John Smith's Stadium.

A week later, Chelsea host Arsenal in West London before the month ends with a trip to the North-East to face Newcastle United.

By the middle of October, Chelsea will have played home fixtures against Liverpool and Manchester United with the first journey to a "top-six" club not coming until November 24 when they will play Tottenham Hotspur.

The first derby showdown with neighbours Fulham will be staged at Stamford Bridge on December 1 while a week later, Manchester City will travel to England's capital, leaving Chelsea with a number of testing away matches during the second half of the campaign.

The full fixture list can be found here.
