Nine changes for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made nine changes to his side for tonight's visit of Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the League Cup.

Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta are the only players who keep their places in the starting XI following Sunday's 1-1 draw at Manchester City in the Premier League.

Petr Cech makes his first appearance of the season for the Blues, while Filipe Luis, Oscar, Andre Schurrle and Loic Remy are all included.

Meanwhile, Bolton boss Dougie Freedman has gone for five changes on the back of his side's 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship.

Chris Herd goes straight into the team after joining from Aston Villa on loan. Jermaine Beckford, Neil Danns and Darren Pratley are among the other names to be recalled for the Trotters.

Bolton: Lonergan; Herd, Mills, Dervite, Moxey; Pratley, Medo, Danns, Feeney, C Davies; Beckford Subs: Kenny, McNaughton, Spearing, Ream, Lee, Mason, Clayton
