Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that there will be "no consequences" should his side fail to beat Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup final on Sunday.
At his pre-match press conference, Mourinho was asked whether defeat would dent their confidence ahead of the Premier League run-in, but Mourinho believes that the result of the Wembley fixture is irrelevant when considering the rest of the campaign.
The 52-year-old told reporters: "I just think about the moment. Only this game. We have a final to win and nothing else matters.
"I don't think that if we win the Cup final, we will win the league, or if we lose it we will lose the league.
"It is just a game we have to play and after that, the Cup talk is over. If we go home with the Cup and the medal, perfect. But no consequences - we just carry on. There is no time to think about consequences."
Chelsea are competing in their first League Cup final since losing to Spurs at Wembley in 2008.
