Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Chelsea could line up for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Crystal Palace at Wembley.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has no fresh injury concerns to work around for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Crystal Palace at Wembley.

The Blues remain without Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi for the long term, and Romelu Lukaku's participation is still up in the air as he battles pain in his Achilles, although he is now back in training.

Ross Barkley missed the Real Madrid second leg through illness but is now better, while Cesar Azpilicueta also rapidly recovered from a bout of COVID-19 to make the squad for the Bernabeu trip.

The magnitude of the occasion should see Tuchel select Edouard Mendy in goal over Kepa Arrizabalaga, as Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger hold their spots in the backline.

Azpilicueta could rejoin his defensive partners in the back three, in turn allowing Reece James to shift to his right-wing back role as Ruben Loftus-Cheek drops out of the side.

With the Blues largely dominating Real Madrid on their own turf in midweek, Mateo Kovacic, Marcos Alonso and N'Golo Kante could all start once more, although the latter did not enjoy his finest evening at the Bernabeu.

Mason Mount and Kai Havertz are shoo-ins in the final third, and Timo Werner will hope to join them once again after producing the goods against Los Blancos and Southampton in the past week.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger; James, Kovacic, Kante, Alonso; Mount, Werner; Havertz
