John Terry to start against Schalke 04

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that John Terry will start Tuesday's Champions League tie away to Schalke 04.

The Blues are currently in Germany ahead of the match at the Veltins-Arena.

However, the injured Ashley Cole has not travelled with the squad as they look to make it two wins from three games in Group E.

Mourinho told reporters: "JT was here at the press conference so will play. I need to make a decision [out of who will play] between David Luiz and Gary Cahill."

Schalke currently sit at the top of Group E with a maximum six points from their opening two fixtures.
