Ex-Manchester City player Adam Drury leaves Bristol Rovers after one week

Former Manchester City midfielder Adam Drury leaves Bristol City after just one week at the League Two club due to "personal reasons".

Former Manchester City midfielder Adam Drury has left Bristol Rovers after just one week at the League Two club.

The 21-year-old moved to the Memorial Stadium on the final day of the summer transfer window last Tuesday after being released by City.

However, a tweet via the Pirates' official social media page has announced that Drury will no longer be part of the club due to "personal reasons".

Drury did not make a single Premier League appearance during his four-year senior spell at City.
