Xavi returns to Barcelona squad

Xavi has returned to the Barcelona squad for Wednesday's Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg against Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou.

The midfielder has missed his side's last four matches with a hamstring problem, but has now been passed fit to feature against the Spanish champions.

The 34-year-old has been used sparingly this season, but has still racked up 19 appearances for the Catalan side.

First-choice goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has been left out of the squad, however, with fellow summer signing Marc-Andre ter Stegen due to start in goal.

Barcelona lost to Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey last season.
