The report claims that the Bosnia and Herzegovina international would like to return to Germany for 'private reasons', and Schalke are optimistic that they will get a deal over the line despite the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
Kolasinac, who has scored five times in 104 appearances for Arsenal, is under contract at the Emirates until 2022.
