Report: Arsenal want Loris Karius

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Mainz 05 goalkeeper Loris Karius in January.

The 21-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and talks over a new deal at his current club have reportedly broken down.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is not convinced by current goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and is in the market for a new stopper.

Karius, who is believed to be interesting a number of European clubs, started his professional career at Manchester City before joining Mainz in 2012.
