Joel Campbell: 'I don't want to return to Arsenal'

Forward Joe Campbell - who is currently on loan at Real Betis - says that he does not want to return to play for Arsenal in the Premier League.

Joel Campbell has revealed that he wants to continue his career in La Liga, rather than return to Arsenal in the summer.

Campbell signed for Arsenal in August 2011, but the forward has spent six loan spells away from the Emirates Stadium, with the Costa Rica international currently spending time at Real Betis.

Injury has restricted Campbell to just four appearances for the Spanish side, but the attacker has said that he is keen to remain with the club next season.

The 25-year-old told Radio Marca Sevilla: "My idea is to stay here for many years but those decisions are not mine.

"I have been lucky enough to enjoy lots of different clubs and leagues but I like it here."

Campbell has scored a total of four goals in 23 starts and 17 substitute outings for Arsenal.
