Arsenal are reportedly struggling to sell their fringe players due to their unwillingness to take a pay cut at other clubs.

Arsenal are reportedly struggling to sell unwanted players because they are not prepared to take pay cuts at other clubs.

Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, David Ospina, Calum Chambers, Lucas Perez and Mathieu Debuchy have all been told that they can leave this summer.

However, according to the Daily Mail, suitors for the players are failing to agree deals due to wage demands, which is delaying Arsene Wenger's transfer plans.

It is believed that sales will take £19m off the wage bill, but due to the players' unwillingness to lower their salaries, the Gunners may be forced to reduce their price tags.

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is the only first-team player to leave the club this summer in a £10m switch to Juventus.
