Arsenal step up Yann M'Vila interest

Arsenal have opened negotiations with Rennes regarding the signature of Yann M'Vila, according to reports in France.

The 20-year-old has previously hinted at a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

According to France Football, Arsene Wenger has now made his move in a bid to beat Inter Milan and Bayern Munich to the punch.

M'Vila made his debut for France against Norway in August 2010 and has gone on to win a further 18 caps.
