How Arsenal could line up against Bournemouth

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could name an unchanged starting side for a third successive Premier League match when the Gunners travel to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

The North London club have started their 2022-23 campaign with back-to-back wins over Crystal Palace and Leicester City, with William Saliba, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus newcomers to the side.

Jesus scored twice against Leicester last weekend and will again lead the attack, with Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli also set to continue in the forward areas.

Ben White has been playing as a right-back in the early stages of this season and is expected to continue in that position, with Saliba lining up alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in the middle.

Kieran Tierney is pushing for the left-back role, but Zinchenko has been excellent in the early stages of this season and is set to retain his spot in the side.

New signing Fabio Vieira featured for the club's Under-21s on Wednesday, but the midfielder, who has been out with an ankle injury, is not expected to be considered for selection here.

Reiss Nelson will also miss out for the Gunners due to a muscular problem, but Arteta's squad is otherwise in good shape, so there are not expected to be any surprises this weekend.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Thomas, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
