Ray Parlour: 'Jurgen Klopp, Rudi Garcia potential Arsene Wenger replacements'

Ray Parlour identifies Jurgen Klopp and Rudi Garcia as replacements for long-serving Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has suggested that either Jurgen Klopp or Rudi Garcia could be the right men to replace Arsene Wenger when he leaves the club.

It has been claimed that Wenger, who took charge of the North Londoners in 1996, could call time on his stint at the end of the season.

Borussia Dortmund head coach Klopp has long been linked with the Emirates Stadium post, but Parlour also believes that Roma boss Garcia has the capabilities to do a good job.

"That will be the hardest decision the club have to make. They need to have a replacement lined up. Klopp is having a bad time this season, but someone of his calibre is needed. He changes his tactics and has been in the Champions League before," Parlour wrote on Sportslobster.com.

"Roma's Rudi Garcia is another good manager. Wenger will have a say in who is brought in. He built the club up, won trophies and oversaw the new stadium."

Klopp is the current favourite with the bookmakers to take charge of the Gunners after Wenger.
