Chris Coleman 'hopeful' Aaron Ramsey will be fit for Arsenal

Wales boss Chris Coleman is hopeful that Aaron Ramsey will be fit for Arsenal's clash against Manchester City on Saturday, despite hurting his ankle against Andorra.

Wales manager Chris Coleman is hopeful that Aaron Ramsey will be "okay" to play for Arsenal in this Saturday's Premier League showdown against Manchester City.

The midfielder limped off the pitch with an ankle injury in the closing stages of Wales's 2-1 victory over Andorra in their Euro 2016 qualifier last night.

"He got a kick and there was a twist in his ankle," ESPN quotes Coleman as saying. "It was coming to the end of the game and it was pointless taking a risk with him.

"Hopefully he'll be okay for Arsenal at the weekend but we'll have to see what the next 24 to 48 hours hold."

Ramsey has found the back of the net twice after three league games for the Gunners.
