Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal to miss Stoke City trip

Arsenal manager confirms that midfielder Theo Walcott and defender Nacho Monreal will both miss this weekend's match against Stoke City in the Premier League.

Theo Walcott and Nacho Monreal have both been ruled out of Arsenal's Premier League match against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium this weekend.

The England international has only recently returned from an ACL tear, while the defender limped out of their match against West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

After confirming that Monreal will miss out, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told reporters: "Theo Walcott has an injection today, so he will not play. Galatasaray is also too early for him in midweek.

"Wojciech Szczesny should be in full training today. Mathieu Debuchy is also back in training, but it's too early for him."

Arsenal sit sixth in the Premier League table ahead of this weekend's match.
