Mesut Ozil "completely fit" for Swansea City clash

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirms that Mesut Ozil is "completely fit" to face Swansea City, despite being withdrawn at half time of Germany's win over Northern Ireland.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mesut Ozil will feature in his side's Premier League clash with Swansea City on Saturday.

The 27-year-old started both of Germany's World Cup qualifiers during the international break, but was withdrawn at half time of the 2-0 win over Northern Ireland, sparking concerns over his fitness.

However, Ozil moved to ease those concerns after the match, and Wenger confirmed that the midfielder will be available at the Emirates Stadium.

"He told us he's completely fit, I will see him later. I expect him to be available - he only played one half so he doesn't need to be rested," Wenger told reporters.

Arsenal go into Saturday's match unbeaten in nine outings since the opening day of the season, including an ongoing run of five wins in a row in all competitions.
