Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leeds United

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their FA Cup showdown with Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal face Championship leaders Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium in their first FA Cup game of the season.

The Gunners earned their first win under new manager Mikel Arteta last time out - a convincing 2-0 win over Manchester United.

However, a nine-point gap remains between Arsenal and a top-four spot in the Premier League, meaning that Arteta will be keen for a second successive win to build momentum.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Calum Chambers

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The defender has been ruled out for six to nine months with an ACL injury and will almost certainly miss the rest of the season, meaning that Arteta may be forced to look for a replacement in January.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: January 6 (vs. Leeds)

The young Brazilian is closing in on a return from a hamstring problem and could feature in the clash with Leeds, given his stunning record in cup competitions so far this season.

Hector Bellerin

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: January 6 (vs. Leeds)

Bellerin is also close to making a return following a hamstring issue of his own, but given that the defender has been out for a lengthy period, he is unlikely to be rushed back into action unless he is completely ready.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: March 14 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

The left-back's dislocated shoulder means that he is not likely to return to full training until March, so Bukayo Saka and Sead Kolasinac will continue deputising in the position.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
