Captain Robin van Persie has been dropped to the bench for Arsenal's Champions League fixture with Olympiakos at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

Marouane Chamakh has taken the Dutchman's place up front, while manager Arsene Wenger also hands a start to winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The visiting Greeks name former Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg in their starting lineup, although there is no place for on-loan Villa midfielder Jean Makoun.
