Ukraine's Andriy Yagodka wins fencing sabre gold

Ukraine's Andriy Yagodka has won the gold medal in the fencing individual sabre at the European Games.

The 26-year-old defeated Romania's Tiberiu Dolniceanu 15-10 in the gold-medal match.

It took just two rounds for Yagodka to claim victory, but Dolniceanu held an 8-7 lead after the first.

Yagodka finished the match with four points in a row to claim the gold medal.

Italy's Alberto Pellegrini and Luigi Miracco won the bronze medals.
