Great Britain's fencing team reach foil semi-finals

Team GB have advanced to the semi-finals of the men's fencing team foil after beating Germany 45-26 at the Crystal Hall in Baku.

Germany won just two of the nine bouts as the British team dominated from start to finish.

Marcus Mepstead, 25, Richard Kruse, 31, and Alex Tofalides, 22, all enjoyed comfortable victories over their opponents.

Great Britain will now face France in the semi-finals.
