British fencer Corinna Lawrence loses in last 16

British fencer Corinna Lawrence is out of the women's individual epee after losing in the last 16 to Italian Giulia Rizzi.

Lawrence lost two out of three periods, drawing a third.

The first period was a tetchy affair with Rizzi winning 6-4. The two then drew the second 10-10, before Rizzi won 15-12 just over a minute into the third period.

Lawrence has fought in eight bouts in Baku, losing four and winning four.
