Great Britain's Deborah Criddle secures silver in Grade III individual freestyle dressage

GB's Criddle wins dressage silver

Great Britain's Paralympic rider Deborah Criddle has added another silver medal to the host nation's equestrian team in Grade III of the individual freestyle dressage.

The British hopeful, who does not have a right arm, completed an impressive routine with her horse LJT Akilles, which scored a percentage of 78.550.

Despite a strong score, the Brit was unable to rival Germany's Hannelore Brenner, who racked up a total percentage of 81.700.

Criddle, who carried out her routine third from last in the list, was able to secure her place in the silver-medal position, with Annika Dalskov of Denmark scoring 76.950 to snatch bronze.
