Brash makes history with Grand Slam win

Scott Brash has become the first rider in showjumping history to win the sport's Grand Slam.

The Briton completed the feat at the Calgary Grand Prix in Canada on Sunday, riding Hello Sanctos, adding to his back-to-back victories in Geneva and Aachen.

The 29-year-old was the only rider to complete the second round cleanly within the time limit, on his way to victory and the Rolex Grand Slam.

Brash, who retains his position as world number one, collected €1m (£735,000) in prize money.
