Toulson taking positives from Olympic experience

Great Britain's Lois Toulson has said that she has gained valuable experience from featuring in the synchronised 10m platform final alongside Tonia Couch.

The pair contended for a medal in the eight-team final before eventually finishing in fifth position, but despite failing to get on the podium, Toulson is taking the positives from competing at her first Olympic Games.

The 16-year-old told reporters: "It was amazing. It was one of the best competitions that I've done. I really enjoyed it and I've definitely got a lot of experience from it as well. "I've learned you need to enjoy it. I really enjoyed that competition and we ended up getting a PB together so it shows that's important."

China claimed gold, with Malaysia and Canada securing silver and bronze respectively.
