Laugher clinches gold in Canada

Great Britain's Jack Laugher held his nerve to claim a gold medal in the 3m springboard in the Canada leg of the Diving World Series.

The 20-year-old relinquished the lead to China's He Chao after the fourth dive, but both were in contention for the top honour ahead of the sixth and final dive.

Laugher was able to clinch it with a back three-and-a-half somersaults, which took his overall score to 526.30 points.

Chao's front three-and-a-half somersaults one twist left him with a points total of 521.65.

Meanwhile, Tom Daley claimed double bronze in Canada.
