Tom Daley could train with a new diving partner ahead of the Rio Olympics.

Tom Daley could have a new synchronised diving partner for the Rio 2016 Olympics, in the form of 15-year-old Cambridge diver Daniel Goodfellow.

Daley and his current partner Peter Waterfield just missed out on bronze at the London Games and the 18-year-old could now dive with a younger partner.

"It would be great. I love synchro and I've dived with two other partners," Goodfellow told Cambridge-news.co.uk.

"It will be fine with Tom. We get on and I may be the only diver who matches him in style and age.

"I have to learn a few more dives to get up to speed, but then we might start practising together next year."

Daley won bronze in the individual 10m platform.
