Fourth for Britain's Tonia Couch in Beijing

Tonia Couch finishes fourth in the women's 10m to cap a disappointing weekend for Team GB in Beijing.

Britain's Tonia Couch has finished fourth in the women's 10m final at the World Diving Series in Beijing.

The 25-year-old posted a final total of 351.90 across her five dives, ultimately finding herself more than 40 points adrift of the podium places.

The result caps a disappointing weekend for Team GB overall, with Tom Daley failing to progress past the prelims of the 10m, and 3m starlets Jack Laugher and Chris Mears narrowly missing out on honours. The team's only medal came in the women's 3m synchro as Alicia Blagg and Rebecca Gallantree picked up bronze.

Once again hosts China dominated the women's 10m, with Liu Hiuxia and Chen Ruolin taking the top two spots on the podium. Canada's Meaghan Benfeito did a good job of running a close race with Chen for silver, but ultimately finished five points back for a bronze medal.

Results in full:

1. Liu Huixia (CHN) - 423.10
2. Chen Ruolin (CHN) - 398.90
3. Meaghan Benfeito (CAN) - 393.45
4. Tonia Couch (GBR) - 351.90
5. Roseline Filion (CAN) - 346.25
6. Pandelela Rinong (MAS) - 344.35
