Dingley defends British title

Olly Dingley has successfully defended his 1m title at the British Diving Championships in Plymouth.

Dingley found himself trailing Chris Mears and Jack Laugher after the first round, but he took a lead of three points going into the final dive.

The youngster eventually retained his crown with an overall score of 385.30, while Laugher ended the contest on 374.75.

Chris Mears finished in bronze with a tally of 362.90.
