Tom Daley claims gold in his final event ahead of the Olympics.

Tom Daley claimed the 10m platform gold medal at the Diving World Series in Tijuana, Mexico.

The Brit scored a 10 in his final solo dive to come away with a final score of 562.85, ranking him 20 points clear of his closest competitor.

Daley previously secured the bronze alongside partner Peter Waterfield at the final meeting of the World Series to become overall winner in the 10m platform synchro.

A silver medal went to men's 3m synchro pair Chris Mears and Nick Robinson-Baker, while women's platform duo Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow took bronze.

The event marked Daley's final competition ahead of this summer's London Olympics.
