England's Tom Daley has claimed the Commonwealth Games men's 10m diving final in sensational manner.
Daley led from the very first dive, executing his armstand back triple somersault with a score of 94.50. Daley's main rival for the gold, Australia's Matthew Mitcham, recorded a poor forward 3.5 somersault to put him on the back foot early on.
Up next was the 'demon dive', a routine which he had failed in the morning. The back 2.5 somersault, 2.5 twists routine led to a score of 64.80.
His inward 3.5 somersault for his third dive gained a score of 81.60, keeping him ahead at the halfway mark.
