Tom Daley: 'I'm in the best shape for Commonwealth Games'

Daley in "best shape" for Commonwealths

Olympic diver Tom Daley has insisted that he is in the "best shape" ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next month.

The Brit will try to retain his title after securing gold medals in the 10m platform and platform synchro four years ago in Delhi.

The 20-year-old will lead a 15-strong Team England, which also includes Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow.

"Since [the Delhi Games], my degree of difficulty has massively increased on all my dives and also, I feel like now I'm in the best shape that I've been in for a long time, so I'm feeling good going into the Commonwealths," Daley told reporters.

The Olympic bronze medallist told Sports Mole that he expects Glasgow to recreate the atmosphere that took over the country during London 2012.
