Chen Ruolin has won the gold medal for China in the women's 10m platform at London 2012.

The world champion put in a sublime performance to come away with first place and an impressive score of 422.30.

Silver was anybody's for the taking, with many of the divers struggling to find top form. It was Australia's Brittany Broben who raised her game to take it, impressing the judges with a back 2 1/2 somersault 1 twist in the final round.

Malaysia's Pandelela Rinong Pamg recovered from a scrappy first dive, upping her game to find consistency and come away with the bronze medal.

Broben's compatriot Melissa Wu was unlucky to go home empty-handed after finishing little more than a point behind third-placed Pamg.
