Niki Terpstra wins second successive Tour of Qatar

Dutchman Niki Terpstra wins his second overall Tour of Qatar, with Sam Bennett claiming victory in the sixth and final stage.

Niki Terpstra has won the Tour of Qatar for the second successive year, despite losing the final stage to Sam Bennett.

Terpstra came into the final stage with a six-second lead over Maciej Bodnar and he managed to hold on and claim the overall victory.

Norwegian Alexander Kristoff finished in third place after ending a further three seconds behind.

Sir Bradley Wiggins came 78th overall, in what was his first major race of the season.
