Frank Schleck's 'B' sample tested positive for banned substance

Schleck's sample confirms failed drugs test

Radio-Shack Nissan cyclist Frank Schleck has claimed that the test of his 'B' sample has confirmed the initial failed drugs test.

The Luxembourg rider was forced to withdraw from the Tour de France this week after testing positive for a banned substance known as diuretic.

The 32-year-old was determined to fight his case by requesting an analysis of his sample but the tests have returned claiming that the substance was within his system.

Schleck, who finished third in last year's Tour, recently claimed that he must have been "poisoned" and plans to argue his case.
