Adelaide Strikers beat Hobart Hurricanes by 38 runs

An impressive bowling performance Adelaide Strikers helped them to a comprehensive victory over the Hobart Hurricanes by 38 runs.

Michael Klinger was instrumental in guiding the Strikers to 162-4 with an unbeaten 71 runs from 61 balls.

Hurricanes' batsmen could not get going as they looked to claw their way back, with Tim Paine and Ricky Ponting hitting 33 and 26 as the only scores of real note.

The Strikers' bowling, particularly from Cameron Boyce and Kane Richardson, ensured the Hurricanes lost wickets consistently, and delivered the win to keep them in the hunt for the finals.

The Hurricanes, meanwhile, blew the chance to move into second place.
